Position: Commercial / Procurement Officer / Buyer
Our client, a reputable Group of Companies, is looking for an experienced procurement Officer/Buyer to be based in Dar es Salaam.

Responsibilities
- To procure materials and subcontract in timely manner within approved budgeted cost.
- Negotiate pricing contracts with suppliers
- Issue purchase orders for procurement and expedition of materials and equipment for the business
- Establish new relationships with suppliers to ensure adequate resources
- Leverage technology, safety measures, and information sharing to increase productivity and profitability
- Assist in settling invoice or contract disputes
- Forecast upcoming demand

Qualifications
- Degree in Procurement
- Excellent computer skills especially Exel and Outlook.
- Very fluent in English.
- Procurement/Buyer experience in construction, r
- Good knowledge of SAP system.
