MWECAU Selected Applicants Batch 1 2020/2021. Mwenge Catholic University (MWECAU) grew out of a former Teachers’ College (TC) named St. Josephs Teachers College established in 2001 to train Science Teachers for Secondary schools. In 2005 the TC was elevated to a University College of Education (MWUCE) affiliated to St Augustine University of Tanzania. In July 2014, MWUCE was, by TCU mandate, granted status of a Fully Fledged University named Mwenge Catholic University and abbreviated MWECAU.

The University is owned by Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC). Since its establishment as a teachers’ college, the University has been involved in active academic, research, and community engagement efforts to fulfil its mandate as a distinguished academic institution, as well as responding to the government policy of expanding education facilities and training to the private sector in Tanzania.

To confirm your admission please follow the following steps:

  2. Request a confirmation code through a link in your admission profile.
  3. You will receive a SPECIAL CODE sent to you via SMS or will be show in the system.
  4. Enter the SPECIAL CODE you received into your admission profile to complete your confirmation.

What to do if you are not Selected

if you are not Selected in this first round application don’t give up still you have a chance to apply for the next application window. But make sure your consider the following things:-

Read carefully TCU Admission guidebook that has all criteria and requirements to be admitted for each programme.
Apply the programme by considering your Form Six NECTA Results or Diploma.
Avoid to apply for the courses with higher competition while you result are not good because you will have no great chance to be selected.
