VACANCY ADVERTISEMENT: SITE ENGINEER
The Institute of Accountancy Arusha is a parastatal academic institution offering
Undergraduate and Postgraduate training programmes. It is established by the Institute
of Accountancy Arusha Act No.1 of 1990 and is located at Njiro Hill, seven kilometres
Southern-East of Arusha City. The Institute of Accountancy Arusha hereby invites
applications for SITE ENGINEER.

services through applied technology.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Manage complex civil and related engineering matters.
2. Prepare project plans and schedules.
3. Ability to draw and interpret structural drawings of the Babati Campus site to
skilled and unskilled laborer.
4. Monitor the coordination of site activities.
5. To prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) at required time.
6. Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular
projects.
7. Weekly and monthly reports to be submitted to Project Manager and Campus
Manager.
8. Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required.
9. Preparations of monitoring reports and reporting tools of the progress of the
construction activities on sites on weekly and monthly bases.
10.Prepare Material specifications for the purpose of raising requisitions of
materials; ensure that minimum stock levels are maintained at all times.
11.Resolve design-related problems and develop solutions to complex technical
problems.
12.Must adhere to all risk Management protocols such as safety and security of the
Projects together with its staff.
13.Perform any other construction related activities as may be assigned by the
construction committee.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must hold a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from any recognised institution.
- Must be a Professional registered Engineer by Engineering Registration Board.
- Must have at least a Minimum of three years working experience in Construction
- industry.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
