Job Description:
Our client is seeking a qualified Fitter with experience in MMU’s and explosives plants within the mining industry to join their team in Tanzania.
Responsibilities:
· Maintenance, repairs and breakdown support for both mobile equipment and fixed plant.
· Ensure reliability and availability of plant and equipment.
· Ensure planned maintenance is carried out according to schedule.
· Risk assessment and taking necessary corrective action.
· Rebuilds and field support as required.
· Mentoring and training of staff.
· Provide technical support.
· Continuous improvement initiatives.
· Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
Heavy Automotive Trade Certificate.
Experience on mobile equipment such as MMU’s, skid steer loaders, drills, etc.
Experience on explosives manufacturing plants.
8 years previous experience in the maintenance of mobile fleet and fixed plant within mining / mining services environments.
Experience with SAP (maintenance planning).
Willing to travel as required.
Valid driver’s license.
Tanzanian nationals encouraged to apply.
