Job Summary:

As a Monitoring Officer, you will be responsible for driving office vehicles, maintenance, and monitoring the lease portfolio in Dar es Salaam. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to traffic laws, vehicle safety protocols, and company policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive office vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain and monitor the lease portfolio in Dar es Salaam.
  • Report to the Office Administrator (OA) and Branch Manager (BM) on all routine matters.
  • Ensure valid documentation, including a valid driving permit and vehicle logbook.
  • Renew driving permits and maintain records of vehicle documents.
  • Complete vehicle logbooks accurately, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
  • Check vehicle conditions before each journey, including fuel, oil, water, and electrical components.
  • Transport authorized passengers only and refrain from unauthorized stops or pickups.
  • Maintain cleanliness and good condition of assigned vehicles.
  • Comply with parking regulations and obtain necessary authorization for vehicle movements.
  • Supervise vehicle repairs and maintenance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor fuel consumption and refueling processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Wear the prescribed uniform and maintain personal hygiene standards.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the CFO, HR, or MD.

Qualifications:

  1. Completion of Form Four with a valid Class C Driving License.
  2. 3-5 years of experience as a driver.
  3. Proficiency in computer usage.
  4. Skills in monitoring and loan recovery.
  5. Fluency in English and Swahili.
