Horizons is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our client, Zoomlion, a prominent Chinese company leading in the Research and Development (R&D) and manufacturing of construction machinery, agricultural machinery, and other cutting-edge equipment and new building materials. Zoomlion has made significant acquisitions globally, establishing overseas production bases and showcasing an impressive portfolio of products.

Location: Remote (based in Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Azerbaijan, or Georgia).

Key Responsibilities: As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of Zoomlion. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing agents and customers for all product lines in the respective country.
  2. Demonstrating expertise in mainframe and complete machine sales.
  3. Utilizing relevant product experience in areas such as concrete, construction, high-tech machinery, earthmoving, industrial vehicles, mining machinery, and more.
  4. Conducting preliminary reviews of sales contracts to ensure consistency and flexibility of sales policies, managing risks, and ensuring customer adherence to agreed terms and credit policies.
  5. Quantifying sales targets based on regional sales plans and achieving them.
  6. Assisting local distributors in organizing and implementing overseas marketing promotion activities, along with providing corresponding training for customers.
  7. Ideating marketing techniques for acquiring new clients and maintaining relations through proactive assessment of their needs and promoting the company’s portfolio.
  8. Adjusting regional marketing strategies timely based on the local market situation.

Key Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferably technical or engineering).
  • English proficiency as a working language.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years overall, with at least 3-4 years in equipment sales.
  • Relevant experience in selling construction machinery and equipment directly to agents or users.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, highly upright, willing to take on new challenges, and able to work in a multinational and multicultural environment.
  • Driving License: A valid driving license is required.
