POSITION – SALES EXECUTIVE POSITION – TANZANIA

Our client is a renowned 100 Top Brand firm in the country and one of the largest companies in the promotional products industry. Passionate about helping clients make powerful impressions using customer merchandise and apparel, they operate through two divisions: Screen Printing and Embroidery Brand Solutions.

Job Purpose

The Sales Executive will play a crucial role in representing the company to the marketplace and, in turn, representing the customer to the organization. Client development, both with cold and existing prospects, is a critical aspect of the role. The sales representative should possess excellent telephone skills and professional sales abilities. Corporate customer handling experience will be a plus. A good working knowledge of selling branded promotional merchandise as effective marketing and communication solutions will be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Market and sell company capabilities in products and services to existing customers and prospects.
  2. Work with the sales manager to develop new customers and strive to meet/exceed sales volume goals and company budgets.
  3. Maintain customer relations and satisfaction, developing additional contacts at each account.
  4. Organize client visits, offer solutions, answer questions, provide quotes, and offer samples to meet customer’s branding and promotion needs.
  5. Contact individuals in a position to influence the purchase decision.
  6. Obtain accurate customer deadline dates and advise production on delays or changes.
  7. Learn and stay updated on products, production methods, and services offered by the company and competitors.
  8. Keep abreast of industry trends and understand the needs of actual and potential customers.
  9. Maintain records with relevant information for each new prospect and make periodic calls on prospective customers.
  10. Assess customer’s plans regarding future print projects, budgets, and in-house marketing plans, updating the supervisor accordingly.

Candidate Profile:

  • Diploma/Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Self-motivated, energetic individuals with a zeal to excel in corporate sales.
  • A go-getter attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Background in corporate branding, advertising, and printing is advantageous.
  • At least 3 years’ experience and above.
  • Must reside in Arusha.
