About the Job

We are in search of an exceptional Marketing Lead to represent our client, a cutting-edge blockchain technology company leading the way in innovative solutions for decentralized finance (DeFi) and blockchain infrastructures. The Marketing Lead will play a pivotal role in strategic content management, community engagement, collaboration with external teams, and showcasing expertise in social media and PR. This role is crucial for propelling our client’s blockchain project to unprecedented heights.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and execute content releases.
• Encompass ideation, strategizing, and scheduling.
• Ensure a cohesive approach to marketing communications.
• Produce content in various formats (videos, blog posts, AMAs).
• Disseminate content across social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Actively engage with blockchain communities.
• Support the community team in launching initiatives.
• Organize virtual and in-person events in partnership with the community team.
• Establish and maintain relationships with other protocols’ marketing teams.
• Coordinate joint marketing efforts for enhanced partnerships.
• Manage and grow presence on platforms like Twitter and Discord.
• Secure appearances on podcasts and work on PRs and media platforms.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the industry.
• Utilize a strong meme game for effective communication.
• Lead and manage internal staff and external contractors.
• Ensure effective teamwork and goal achievement.
• Manage and expand a network of ambassadors.
• Enhance reach and impact in the blockchain community.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years spent in Web3 with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns in the blockchain or crypto industry.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex blockchain concepts clearly and engagingly.
• Proven experience in managing and growing a professional social media account.
• Emphasis on Twitter and LinkedIn for brand growth and community engagement.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a startup environment.
• Team management and coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Strong network within the blockchain community is a must.
• Blend of technical understanding and creative marketing skills.
• Demonstrated capacity for collaborative leadership.
• Passion for innovation in blockchain technology and its applications is essential.
