The Fair Competition Commission (FCC) is inviting qualified and dedicated individuals to apply for the position of Counterfeit Surveillance Officer II (Law Enforcement). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the enforcement of fair competition and combat the proliferation of counterfeit goods in Tanzania.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Trace counterfeits at entry points, Inland Container Depots (ICDs), shops, and godowns.
2. Collect and analyze data from the field, compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
3. Liaise with the Anti-Counterfeit Enforcement section on legal matters.
4. Conduct raids in godowns, retail shops, and private premises suspected of harboring counterfeits.
5. Inspect premises, vehicles, and individuals suspected to harbor or manufacture counterfeits.
6. Carry out surveys of markets to identify counterfeit goods.
7. Seize, detain, remove, and store any suspected counterfeit goods in a designated place.
8. Take samples for laboratory testing.
9. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification and Experience:

• Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in law enforcement or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions.

Remuneration: FCCGSS 4
