ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Technician to join our team. As an IT Technician at our company, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and security of our technology infrastructure, particularly related to money transaction services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring that our systems operate smoothly and securely.

 

  1. Maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software systems used in money transaction services, including mobile wallets, point-of-sale (POS) devices, and backend systems.
  2. Perform regular system updates, upgrades, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.
  3. Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by end-users and customers, providing timely support.
  4. Collaborate with the IT team to monitor network performance and ensure high availability of money transaction services.
  5. Configure, install and maintain hardware, including servers, workstations, and mobile devices.
  6. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security measures to protect customer and financial data.
  7. Keep detailed records of all maintenance and troubleshooting activities, including hardware and software inventory.
  8. Support and train employees and customers on using our technology, including mobile wallet apps and transaction platforms.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, security best practices, and emerging technologies related to mobile wallet and money transaction services.
  10. Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to minimize downtime and data loss in case of emergencies.

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS.

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role, with a minimum of [2] years in the financial or mobile wallet industry.
  3. Strong understanding of mobile wallet technology, money transaction systems, and payment processing.
  4. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including network connectivity and security.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
  6. Familiarity with IT best practices, security protocols, and data protection standards.
  7. Knowledge of server and network administration, including Windows and Linux systems.
  8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical staff and customers.
  9. Relevant industry certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+, are a plus.
  10. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
