Job Description
JOB BRIEF
We are looking for female multi-skilled candidates who can balance technical maintenance with good people skills. The facilities manager oversees all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities. Duties include running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising facilities staff. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in facilities management processes and exhibits high multitasking and organizational abilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversees building and grounds maintenance.
· Operates and maintains custodial functions.
· Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
· Ensures that the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
· Oversees and supervises the quality of work for other employees to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively.
· Manages and reviews service contracts.
· Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections.
· Checks completed work by vendors and contractors.
· Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
· Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees.
· Forecasts, allocates, and supervises the financial and physical resources of the facility management.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCES
· A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
· A bachelors degree in business, project management, or engineering
· 2-4 years in related positions
