The following steps are provided to fill the UDOM Online Application 2023/2024 in Tanzania. Candidates can fill the application form on the official portal. Below are the steps to know how to apply for UDOM:

  1. Visit the official website link Of UDOM (Link will be provided below).
  2. Click on the “Admission” link.
  3. A new page will be opened on the computer screen.
  4. Read all the instructions carefully.
  5. Now, click on the proceed button.
  6. Fill in your basic details for registration & click on the “submit” button.
  7. You will get a “Registration ID” & “Password” in your registered email ID / mobile number.
  8. Login with registration ID & password.
  9. Now, fill in your personal & education qualification details.
  10. Upload the required documents.
  11. Pay the application fee if applicable.
  12. Submit it.

Entry Schemes into Degree Programmes

Four entry schemes to Bachelor’s degree programmes are recognized by the Commission:

i) The equivalent entry qualifications for holders of Ordinary Diploma or Equivalent Qualifications;

ii) The Foundation Programme of the Open University of Tanzania; and iii) The equivalent qualifications for holders of a Bachelor’s degree award.

Students’ Admission Procedure

University admission or college admission entails processes and procedures through which students enter tertiary education at universities or colleges. It includes procedures and processes involved in the application and approval to undertake a programme of study at the University or College. Thus, the procedure described in the forthcoming section applies to the admission of all categories of Bachelors degree students to accredited programmes of a university, a university college, or a middle-level tertiary institution.

Admission Principles

a) The admissions process shall be based on the submission of applications (available through institutions’ websites) and supporting credentials to a Higher Education Institution of the applicant’s preference;

b) Admission into a HEIs shall be determined on the basis of approved admission pathways; applicant’s entry qualifications and the programme capacity;

c) The minimum criteria for admission into Bachelor’s degree programmes shall be set and approved by the relevant authorities at the institutional level accredited by Commission or the Council;

d) HEIs shall recognize admission criteria as stipulated in the Admission Guidebook issued by the Commission in the respective Admission Cycle;

e) HEIs shall assess all applications for admission in accordance with procedures that are fair and equitable; decisions regarding admission are consistent and free of bias and discrimination;

f) Applicants admitted in more than one institution shall confirm their admission to the most preferred institution as required by the Commission;

g) Students admitted to a programme will, therefore, commence their studies after the approval by respective University Senate or relevant authorities of an institution;

h) All HEIs shall submit to the Commission all students admitted in the respective admission cycle for validation and record-keeping using Commission’s prescribed format.

Information that’s important UDOM Online Admission 2023

UDOM automatically accepts candidates who have a single admission.

Applicants who have been accepted to more than one school must confirm their offers through their admission accounts. Please ask for a CODE, enter it in the space provided, and then click CONFIRM.

After all of the rounds of selection are done on October 20, 2023, admission letters will be sent to those who have been accepted.

Multiple admission statuses will be shown in applicants’ admission accounts on August 24, 2023, and acceptance of an offer of admission will start on September 6, 2023. Date for accepting an offer of admission

Please keep in mind that if you don’t confirm by the deadline, it means you didn’t accept the offer, and other applicants will fill your spot.

Beware:

To get a confirmation CODE, you don’t have to pay anything.

The codes can only be asked for through the admission accounts of applicants.

Remember:

To log in to your account with your email address as your username

to use the password you chose when you set up your account.

The SECOND APPLICATION WINDOW will be open from August 24 to September 6, 2023. If you missed the first round, you are all welcome to reapply or send a new one.
