Description

Production Manager Responsibilities:

In this role, you will lead the production team, while reporting to our Operations Manager.

Responsibilities will include:

Production Management and Planning:

  1. • Oversee production processes
  2. • Assessing of project and resource needs
  3. • Creating schedules of work for your team
  4. • Ensuring company procedures are being followed by employees
  5. • Organizing equipment repair and routine maintenance
  6. • Determining quality control standards
  7. • Ensuring health and safety regulations are met
  8. • Ordering and purchasing material and equipment
  9. • Providing monthly reports of quality control, production numbers, safety, and other reports as needed
  10. Other duties as required
  11. Personnel Management:
  12. • Assist Human Resources with recruitment and training of new employees
  13. • Complete performance appraisals bi-annually
  14. • Coach employees
  15. • Communicate any relevant company information and updates to procedures to personnel
  16. • Enforce rules and regulations
  17. • Handle conflict resolution and performance management with support of Human Resources team
  18. • Ensure workplace is safe and clean through task delegation and educating personnel.
  19. • Train personnel on new equipment and review all equipment and safety procedures based on necessity and scheduled reviews.

Production Manager Qualifications:

  1. • 3+ years of experience as a Production Manager
  2. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field would be considered a strong asset
  3. • Organization and attention to detail are necessary for this role
  4. • Problem-solving abilities and conflict management
  5. • Leadership abilities
  6. • Must have experience with managing employees
  7. • Chinese speaking language will be an added advantage
