The Coordinator reports hierarchically to the Director of Programs and the Country Director of AA in Senegal. They will work directly hand in hand with the reference at the headquarters of the Pool of experts. It will be the person in charge of:
The formulation and correct execution of Alliance actions in Senegal.
Define, seek funding, and implement the organization's work strategy in Senegal.
Facilitate the process of merging the Alliance with AA Senegal in the country
Specific requirements
Bachelor / Master's degree. (It will be valued in agricultural areas, social sciences and related)
Training in International Cooperation.
The working languages are Spanish, English and French (essential).
More than 5 years of experience in international cooperation, of which at least two worked abroad.
Experience in coordination positions.
Experience in project planning, monitoring and evaluation methodologies.
Skills for mediation and conflict management.
Communication, negotiation, empathy and diplomacy skills.
Skills in human resource management, leadership and team motivation.
Experience in Senegal will be valued
Experience in managing food security and/or product development projects with a gender perspective, as well as experience with Spanish donors (AECID, Generalitat Valenciana, AEXCID, AACID), will be valued.
Conditions of the position
Minimum 1-year contract (extendable for 1 year)
Salary: € 30,000 - € 34,000
Plus destination: € 163 / month
42 working days of vacation per year
Installation of € 1,502
Incorporation: immediate.
Location of the position: Kolda with frequent missions to the areas of execution of the actions and Dakar for coordination issues
