Focus on our activities in CAR
Our mission in CAR has existed since 2007. PUI is developing its integrated approach there with interventions in Health, Nutrition , MHPSS and Water-Hygiene-Sanitation. In addition, PUI works on intervention in a fixed location via primary health or first aid centers, in support of certain hospitals, or via the deployment of mobile clinics in the most remote areas. Today, the mission consists of 7 projects.
And the Logistician-not-Administrator in all this?
As a Logistics Officer, you will be responsible for the good financial, accounting, budgetary and logistics management of the base, as well as the management of human resources, administrative and legal files of the base in compliance with the PUI and donor procedures.
To this end, your responsibilities will be as follows:
Financial, budgetary and accounting management : You will supervise the financial, accounting and budgetary management on the base and ensure compliance with the related procedures, with the functional support of the Financial Coordinator of the mission.
Human resources management : You will supervise the administrative management activities of human resources on the basis with the functional support of the HR Coordinator of the mission or of the Administrative and Financial Coordinator at fault.
Administrative management : You will supervise the administrative management on the base and ensure compliance with the related procedures, with the functional support of the Financial Coordinator of the mission.
Logistics management and monitoring : You will supervise the logistics components and activities of your base. This concerns the supervision of the supply chain (monitoring and management of purchases, warehousing, transport including the last mile) as well as support logistics (monitoring and management, equipment, tools , resources, services that the teams need to do their work correctly). Finally, you will implement the necessary actions related to the safety of people, goods and places.
Coordination, Reporting and Representation : You will centralize and disseminate information within the database for everything relating to the financial, administrative, legal, human resources and logistics areas, and you will participate in internal and external reporting in these same areas. You will represent the association with partners, authorities and various local actors involved in the financial, administrative, legal, human resources and logistical fields of the base.
Team management : You will supervise the administrative, financial and logistical team of your base.

What you will need to be successful
Training : You can justify a higher diploma (Bac +2, +3 or equivalent) in one of the following fields: logistics, financial management.
Experience : You have at least one year of professional experience in a similar position, and ideally experience in team management. Have you already worked with Première Urgence Internationale? It will be an undeniable asset!
Skills : You have good knowledge of logistics and / or administrative and financial management. If you have notions about the procedures of institutional donors (EU, OFDA, ECHO, AAP, UN agencies), it will be highly appreciated.
Required qualities : You are able to assume responsibilities in a proactive approach, in autonomy and with a good management of priorities. You are a good communicator, both written and oral, have a good capacity for analysis and adaptation. You demonstrate rigor, organization, and good resistance to stress.
Languages : French and English hold no secrets for you? So much the better, it is essential for this position!

PUI will offer you
- Status: Employee on a Fixed-Term Contract
- Gross monthly salary : 1,815.00 - 2,145.00 EUR depending on your experience in international solidarity + 50 € per semester of seniority with PUI
