Getting Free Website Visitors From Specific Countries

  • Because some advertisers are very much interested in geographical source of our traffic before making up their minds to buy space on our blogs getting our traffic from a specific country or region really matters.
  • Any blogger who is physically located somewhere in his country can effectively create a blog that gets more of its traffic from US or Canada or any region other than where he is.

IMPORTANCE OF REGION TARGET TRAFFIC

Local businesses like restaurant, supermarkets, hotels, etc may want more exposure in their geo areas of coverage. As a consequence, traffic that will matter to them will be those around their area of location. If this aspect of targeted traffic is ignored, their efforts would bring very little results because many who get to know about them living far face the distance and transport barriere to get to them.

Hotels in Kuala Lumpur Island or even Pulau Langkawi  in Malaysia may not be interested in travelers to some other cities, for instance.

People in different geographical locations generally have different purchasing power and facilities. Africa for instance is generally known for it lack of online payment facilities and low purchasing power. This also is true for most Indian and Asian bloggers.

The US, Canada and most European countries on the other hand have more developed societies with facilities that encourage online spending.

In order to make more sales and profits, most businesses may want to get their products exposed to markets in areas with bright business representation.

Geo-targeting is a very crucial factor in online business.

There are several ways to pull free traffic from any area you choose to target but let’s look at 06 of these;

1 – Write Irresistible Headlines From That Region
Headlines are one of the most important parts of any content. Without a compelling headline, even the most comprehensive blog post will go unnoticed. Write many different headlines before finally settling on the one that will drive the most traffic, so think carefully about your headline before you hit “publish.” Irresistible headings will always pull traffic from the targeted region.

Think of business like car repair shops in columbus ohio. That’s a typical keyword that can bring huge local traffic from columbus ohio. Now if you are an automobile blogger, it will be very easy to create a blog that pulls traffic from a certain city. That means you can have huge business with car repair shops, car rentals, car sales, etc in that area.

2 – Make Yourself Heard in Comment Sections on blogs that get traffic from that area
You probably visit at least a few sites that are relevant from the targeted region doing so at regular basis. Be active  on blogs that have US readers. The more you drop reasonable comments on these blogs, the more you expose yourself to the readers in this area. so why not join the conversation?
Know that, as with guest posting, quality and relevance are key  you should be engaging with other people in your niche, not dropping spam links on unrelated websites. This of course will help you get more traffic from them and your target area.

3 – Submit Your Content to Aggregator Sites of the target region
Here i will advice  you not to spam on Reddit and other similar sites hoping to “hit the jackpot” of referral traffic, because it’s not going to happen. Members of communities like Reddit are extraordinarily savvy to spam disguised as legitimate links, but every now and again, it doesn’t hurt to submit links that these audiences will find genuinely useful. Choose a relevant subreddit, submit your content, then watch the traffic pour in.Interact with more bloggers in the targeted area.

4 – Host Webinars from the target region
Many People love to learn, and webinars are an excellent way to impart your wisdom to your eagerly waiting audience. Combined with an effective social promotion campaign, webinars are a great way to increase traffic to your website from audience in a target area..Create geo-targeted Twitter accounts  that only get followers from specific countries. This may be a time eater but gradually and with time, it’s possible to have an account where 90% of your followers come from a specific region. That means each time your post is shared to that account, you are sure to have traffic tied to that area. When you post, you are sure the post will be shared generating traffic tied to that area.

5 – Go After geo-targeted Referral Traffic
Rather than trying to persuade other sites to link back to you (a tedious and time-intensive process), create content that just begs to be linked to.
When Larry wrote about the kick in the proverbial teeth that eBay took from Google’s Panda update, we managed to secure a link from Ars Technica in the Editor’s Pick section alongside links to The New York Times and National Geographic. Not too shabby – and neither was the resulting spike in referral traffic. Learn what types of links send lots of referral traffic, and how to get them, in this post.

6 – Advertise or go for  geo-targeted paid traffic
Here we obviously have the easiest way to get traffic to our site. Paid search, social media advertising and display advertising are all excellent ways of attracting visitors and traffic. Most of these Paid search, social media advertising and display advertising have facilities to help you target countries, nations or regions.
